There are many ways that people describe being born again of the Spirit of God through faith in Jesus Christ. They say things like, "I gave my life to Jesus." Others say, "I asked Jesus into my heart," or "I accepted Jesus." All of them mean the same thing. However, there are those that call this description of one's salvation experience a "heresy." Why? Because if they don't see a recognizable change in a person, they will say that person is "not converted at all." But, is this true? In this video, we will explore this subject from a scriptural perspective and see what the truth is behind what it means to "accept Jesus."
