Enemies of Grace

When we think of opposition to Christians, we picture persecution from the outside. But Scripture reveals a deeper conflict — one that rises from within the church itself. This episode examines Paul and the enemies of grace he fought against, tracing their origins and why we still face the same battle today. Are You Stuck On The Hamster Wheel Of Forgiveness?

If you have confessed a sin over 100 times and have not changed, there isn't anything wrong with God. There is something wrong with what you believe about God. Much of Christianity has increased the problem of sin, which they desire to stop through a method that was never designed to stop people from sinning. In this video, I will explain the problem and provide a solution.

John 20:21-23 I Also Send You

We know that Jesus forgave sins. We also know that only God can forgive sins. Yet, people believe that Jesus gave the apostles the authority to forgive sins in John 20:21-23. If true, does this mean the apostles were given the power of God? What does this say about the finished work of Christ? In this video, I will address how when we understand the grammar used in passage reveals both the truth about the forgiveness of sins and what authority Jesus gave the apostles and all Christians.

What Is Sin?

Contrary to popular belief, there is more than one definition of sin. But when people want to get you to fall from grace, they will focus on a specific definition to deceive you. When you understand these definitions in context and measure them against the whole of scripture, you will discover that the position of living under grace is strengthened. In this video, we discuss how this works. Resources: The Purpose of the Law https://youtu.be/eo1IGEWRlZg?si=eOfIUjikQQHFK6ld

Only God Can Forgive Sin

On multiple occasions, Jesus shocked His audience by forgiving the sins of people. From a paralyzed man seeking to be healed to an outcast woman worshipping at His feet. While those in the audience focused on the outward appearance of the paralytic and the woman, Jesus focused on a deeper need that they had. In this video, we will discuss why these two encounters that Jesus had proved His deity.

The Throne Of Grace

For many Christians, Hebrews 4:16 might as well not be in the Bible. With what they believe about forgiveness and their relationship with God, their behavior is more in line with Leviticus 16. If you believe the sin issue is not over between you and God, you will never get to know Him. In this video, we will discuss the differences between approaching God in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. John 19:30 It Is Finished

Jesus said, "It is finished." But for many Christians they live a life as if Jesus said, "It isn't finished." What is it that Jesus finished? In this video, we explore: - What “it” truly refers to - Why Jesus’ final words were a victory cry, not a surrender - How His death fulfills the entire sweep of Scripture—from the Passover lamb to the Suffering Servant - Why the cross ended the need for any further sacrifice - Why Jesus will never bear sin again when He returns - And what this means for your confidence, your forgiveness, and your standing before God Resources: The Death of Jesus livinggodministries.net/living_god_ministries/radio_archive/audio_files/gospel_of_john_122_19_23_37_the_death_of_jesus_ext.mp3

Hebrews 10:1-4 A Shadow of the Good Things

Are we living in the shadow of the good things that are coming and not in the reality of them? We have reimagined the sacrifices of the Old Testament and in the process, we have nullified the finality of the Cross. Was the sacrifice of Jesus enough or did His death only lead to a change in the sacrificial system? In this video, I discuss how the constant attempts to get forgiven are a denial of the forgiveness that we have already received.

Broken Fellowship: Does God Cut Off Christians?

What really happens when a Christian sins? Does it break our fellowship with God—or has Jesus already removed every barrier forever?

This video dives into one of the most debated questions in evangelical circles, exploring the tension between Old Testament warnings and New Testament promises. We’ll look at Isaiah’s words about sin separating us from God, Jeremiah’s prophecy of a new covenant, and the powerful declarations in Hebrews and Romans that nothing can separate us from His love.

Along the way, you’ll see how some ministries teach that sin cuts us off until we repent, while Scripture itself proclaims that Jesus took away the sins of the world, that God remembers them no more, and that He will never leave or forsake us.

Is fellowship something we can lose—or is it secured forever in Christ? The contradictions are striking, the implications are massive, and the truth will challenge everything you’ve heard.

Watch now to discover why this question matters for every believer today.

Is Purgatory Necessary?

According to Catholic Answers, the Catechism of the Catholic Church describes purgatory this way:

"All who die in God’s grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven." (Catechism, 1030)

Purgatory is a state of purification for those who have died without mortal sin but still need to be purified from venial sins.  The reason for this is that nothing unholy can stand before God (Rev. 21:27) and we need to be completely purified of sin before we can experience the Beatific Vision.

Does the Bible support the idea that Christians are in need of further purification after we die?

If we must undergo a final stage of sanctification, where does the Holy Spirit go during this process?

Hebrews 11: What Most Miss About The Hall Of Faith

Hebrews 11 is often celebrated as the "Hall of Faith," a spiritual tribute to biblical heroes who lived by trust in God. But what if the real thread tying their stories together isn’t just faith, but something else. In this video, I discuss eight biblical heroes mentioned in this chapter who were commended for their faith and the hidden truth that they all share.

How does God refer to those who have placed faith in Jesus Christ?

What does He omit when referring to them?

Hebrews 10:11-14 One Sacrifice For All Time

Hebrews 10:11-14 11 And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. 14 For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. How many times did Jesus need to die for your sins? Is there any sin left that you need to deal with? Be Reconciled to God

Colossians 1:19-22 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the crass. 21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation- 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. What does it mean to be reconciled? How does this change your Christian walk and relationship with God? Is Atonement Propitiation?

Day of Atonement:

A day on which Israel fasted, cleansed the sanctuary of impurity, and dealt with their sin through blood rituals and sending a goat into the wilderness. Took place on the 10th day of the seventh month.

Propitiation:

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ reconciles believers to God, cleanses them, and makes them righteous before Him.

Key Scriptures:

Leviticus 16:1-34

Hebrews 10:1-4

Why do Christians use atonement and propitiation interchangeably when talking about the forgiveness of sins?

How does the way Christians approach forgiveness resemble how Jews dealt with sin in the Old Covenant?

Laughing, Breakfast, Forgiveness: Discovering Hidden Moments of God's Love

Genesis 18:9-15
9 Then they said to him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” So he said, “Here, in the tent.”10 And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.” (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.) 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and [a]Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. 12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”13 And the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’ 14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” 15 But Sarah denied it, saying, “I did not laugh,” for she was afraid. And He said, “No, but you did laugh!”

Why didn't God punish Sarah for lying?

John 21:4-13
[4] But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. [5] Then Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any food?” They answered Him, “No.” [6] And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish. [7] Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea. [8] But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits), dragging the net with fish. [9] Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread. [10] Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.” [11] Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken. [12] Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?”—knowing that it was the Lord. [13] Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish.

Why did God cook breakfast for the disciples?

Mark 16:1-7 NKJV
[1] Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. [2] Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. [3] And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” [4] But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away—for it was very large. [5] And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. [6] But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. [7] But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”

What is the significance of Peter being singled out to be told about the resurrection?

The Truth About Our Freedom In Christ

1 Corinthians 6:12

"I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything."

Romans 5:13

"To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law."

Galatians 5:13

"You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love."

Galatians 5:1

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."

Galatians 2:4

"This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves."

What is the hardest thing to admit about our freedom in Christ?

If we are not under the law, what motivates us not to sin?

Who is it that wants to enslave us?

The Bible Becomes Clear When You Keep Reading

 John 14:15-17

[15]  “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. [16] And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, [17] even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

‭1 John 1:8-10

[8] If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

‭John 3:3-6

[3] Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” [4] Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” [5] Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. [6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

If reading scripture in context is important how come so many ignore it?

What are the consequences of taking scriptures in isolation?
