When Jeremiah walked into the potter's house, he saw something we all need to see: clay that should have taken shape... but didn't. Clay that became marred - ruined, twisted, resisting the hands that were trying to form it. And instead of throwing it away, the potter did the best he could with it. Jeremiah and Paul both point to the same truth: God is the potter, we are the clay, and what becomes of us depends on whether we yield or resist.
