There's a technique when trying to understand the Bible called "interpreting scripture with scripture" and more specifically, the principle of using clear passages to interpret unclear ones. This is particularly helpful when discussing the topic of eternal security and whether or not a Christian can lose their salvation. Many scriptures are often ignored that support the belief that Christians are secure in our salvation. Take a look at this video as I discuss some of those passages.
